Description

Step through The Giant's head into the magical world of Swarovski. Visit André Heller's Swarovski Crystal Worlds to add a touch of sparkle to your day.

Founded by Daniel Swarovski in the Austrian village of Wattens in 1895, Swarovski became the world's leading producer of precision-cut crystal. Today, after more than 125 years, Swarovski remains a family business, run by fourth and fifth generation descendants of Daniel Swarovski.

For Swarovski Crystal Worlds, multimedia artist André Heller has designed 18 underground Chambers of Wonder dedicated to the versatile artistic interpretation of the material crystal. The result is a universe of discoveries and a simply unique experience with every visit.

Children can explore a play tower, run through a hedge maze and ride a merry-go-round that would fit into the palace of any imaginary kingdom. Adults too can join in the fun, admiring the beauty of the Alps from an observation platform or exploring the site's Roman ruins.

The highlight of any visit to the park, however, is the Giant. Carved into the side of a hill, a waterfall emerges from the giant's mouth, concealing the entrance to the Chambers of Wonder. Inside, visitors will find 18 rooms with unique installations created by leading artists from around the world. The chandelier of pain is one of the main attractions: one can enter a mirrored room with a rotating crystal chandelier that creates eerie shadows and unique light effects. Another sparkling sensation is the newly interpreted 'Silent Light' room, a poetic installation with real snow and temperatures down to -10° Celsius.
