Visit ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo , one of the five oldest zoos in the world, and discover an extraordinary variety of aquatic ecosystems in its recently reopened aquarium.

Visit ARTIS-Micropia , the world's only museum dedicated to microbes, located in the center of Amsterdam. The museum explores the role microbes play in everyday life, health, food production, and nature.

With live microbes, microscopes, interactive displays, and laboratory exhibits, learn more about these microscopic organisms, how they impact the world around us, and hear stories told by lab technicians.
