Africa comes to life in the Bioparc, where a real immersion in the daily activity of the zoo awaits you . Indulge yourself and immerse yourself in natural habitats recreated in detail and discover the complexity of natural ecosystems such as savannas, jungles or swamps. Find out how oritteropes (or anteater pigs) burrow to live in underground burrows surrounded by termites. See hyenas and wild boars as if you were in Africa.

Venture through the lush equatorial forest looking for gorillas, buffaloes and leopards. Marvel at the hippos as they bathe or as crocodiles silently plunge into the waters of the Nile, among thousands of fish. You will see an amphibian habitat where frogs and toads live and a special enclosure for great apes, who can roam in peace inside.

Follow the enormous footsteps of elephants in the replica of an ancient cave carved by elephants themselves, the Kitum Cave, the reconstruction of an ancient Kenyan volcanic cave. At sunset, herds of elephants and groups of buffaloes in search of mineral salts return to the cave, where thousands of bats live.
