Highlights

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is Frank Lloyd Wright's mid-century modern architectural masterpiece located adjacent to scenic Central Park.

Visit the museum to see the highlights of the collection, including works by Degas, Gauguin, and Picasso. You can also see special exhibitions in the iconic spiral rotunda. Pieces are also displayed on the walls of the spiral ramp inside the rotunda. Solomon Guggenheim moved his eccentric collection from the Museum of Non-Objective Art to this iconic location in 1959. The collection has continued to grow with the acquisition of other important works by major European and American artists of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, including Manet, Picasso, Degas, and Pollock, as well as emerging talents such as Julien Bismuth.

There is an elegant souvenir shop where you can purchase your own works of art.
