Venetian cooking lesson

Carolyn, the expert chef, will open the doors of her house to teach you how to cook according to the true Venetian culinary tradition!

Chef Carolyn will accompany you in this fantastic experience by welcoming you with a glass of Prosecco and teaching you the techniques and secrets of her cooking .
The main dish, which you will prepare, will be the traditional ravioli, filled with meat , fish or seasonal vegetables. The ingredients vary according to the period and what the chef finds at the famous Rialto market (one of the oldest markets in Europe).

You will then learn how to prepare the custard, which will accompany the dessert.
At the end of the cooking class you can eat the excellent dishes you have prepared , enjoying a good glass of wine!

Carolyn is a Californian who has been living in Venice for the past 30 years. During his career he has worked everywhere, winning important Italian and international culinary awards. For some time they have decided to open their own home to share their passion for cooking with cooking lovers.

• In case of food intolerances, please notify VENICE TOURS at the time of booking.
• Only children over 10 years of age can participate in the activity together with at least one adult
• The tour is not accessible for people with walking disabilities or in wheelchairs.
• The tour is not private, but may be shared with other guests.

• Meeting point: Rio Terà Canal 22 at the monument (The high red rod) in Campo Santa Margherita, in the historic center of Venice. When you arrive in Campo Santa Margherita, you will see a brown building in the center of the square, next to which there is a monument with a red flagpole (rarely with a flag). Carolyn will be waiting for you there, holding a "COOKING CLASS" sign to take you to her kitchen.
