Description
Departing San Francisco, we head south along the famous Highway No. 1 , California's most scenic coastline! After the scenic drive, we visit Cannery Row in Monterey , made famous by Steinbeck . Enjoy local seafood restaurants and shopping options, or explore the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium (additional cost). Monterey offers a rich and entertaining mix of wildlife, stunning coastal views, and significant history.
Afterwards, you can stroll through the picturesque town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, with its historic main street filled with quaint shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes where you can relax. From here, you can also walk down to the beach and take a stroll along the Pacific Ocean .
After exploring the natural beauty throughout the day, we head back to San Francisco passing through Silicon Valley , the technology capital of the world, where companies like Facebook and Google are headquartered.
Relax and admire one spectacular view after another as you drive along Highway No. 1, following the curves along the Pacific Ocean. In Monterey, you can still enjoy local seafood restaurants , shop, or visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, featuring over 250,000 creatures in more than 200 galleries and exhibits, including an aviary, a three-story kelp forest, penguins, and a million-gallon aquarium called Outer Bay . Alternatively, you can stroll to Lovers' Point, explore the boutiques along historic Cannery Row, or have lunch at Old Fisherman's Wharf .
We then continue along the picturesque 17-Mile Drive , which winds through the Del Monte Forest , past magnificent multi-million dollar homes, stunning coastal vistas, the Pebble Beach Golf Course , the Lone Cypress Tree , and some of the best coastal views in the world.
After exploring all the natural beauty, we return to San Francisco, enjoying magnificent views of the glittering skyline as you relax, taking home unforgettable memories of this tour along California’s most beautiful coast .
