Passo dei Salati is a panoramic and historic place, at almost 3,000 meters above sea level and on the border between two regions, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. From here on clear days you can see in the distance up to the plain, while behind the Monte Rosa with its glaciers is close and imposing.
