Although the Picasso Museum was initially housed in a single building, the “Palau Aguilar”, over the years it was expanded. It currently consists of five different palaces, built between the 13th and 14th centuries.
Once inside the Picasso Museum we will learn about his artistic evolution, from youth to death, also discovering his period spent in Barcelona between 1895 and 1904. Did you know that the Picasso Museum was the first and only museum created during his lifetime of the artist? It is the perfect place to discover all the details of the artist's life and career. Appreciate his artistic evolution through the collection of over 3,500 works and the most complete in the world of works from his youth.
With your guide's explanations, you will learn about the five periods that characterize Picasso's life: the blue, pink, cubist, neoclassical and surrealist periods.
