Collodi Park
Why you should buy your ticket on 1STicket.com.
Highlights
The Pinocchio Park is built as a surprise path: it begins with two works that condense the meaning of the story of Pinocchio, the monument “Pinocchio and the Fairy” by Emilio Greco and the Piazzetta dei Mosaici by Venturino Venturi.
It is a journey in stages, with sculptures, buildings and greenery where adults and children interact together to recall the Adventures of Pinocchio, through the works of great twentieth-century artists, such as the sculptures of Pietro Consagra up to the Great Dogfish by Zanuso.
Historic Garzoni Garden
In the heart of time, among the trees that guard ancient secrets, stands the Historic Garzoni Garden, an earthly paradise populated by silent statues that scrutinize the visitors' progress with stone eyes. It is a place that dances on the thin line between the real and the enchanted, where every step is an invitation to discover enigmas hidden among the lush greenery. The ancient water games awaken the senses, with their sweet murmur that mixes with the birdsong. The waterfalls, like ancient guardians of lost stories, tell of a distant time, when Lords and Ladies delighted in their luxurious baths, hidden from prying eyes by an intricate labyrinth of pavilions and paths.
The Labyrinth itself, with its winding paths and its secrets hidden among the hedges, is a symbol of eternal love, a place where promises are intertwined with the scent of flowers. It is said that whoever passes through it, hand in hand with their beloved, is destined for an endless love story, where time stands still and every moment is an eternity of happiness.
The Teatro di Verzura, with its stone chairs that seem to await the arrival of an invisible audience, is the stage of ancient and modern emotions, where art merges with nature in a timeless embrace. The Viale dei Poveri, flanked by picturesque figures that seem to come to life at sunset, is a journey through the nuances of the human soul, between poverty and wealth, between humility and nobility of soul.
And then there is the Bagnetti pavilion, a place of secret delights where water cradles the most intimate dreams and desires, hiding its guests behind the veil of incognito. Here, among the marble basins and water games, the stories of ladies and knights, of forbidden passions and unspeakable desires intertwine, in an atmosphere of mystery and charm that permeates the very air.
The Historic Garzoni Garden is more than a place, it is a journey through time and space, a sensory and spiritual experience that leaves an indelible mark on the heart of anyone who ventures there, a memory that shines like a star in the firmament of the soul.
Collodi's Butterfly House
In the heart of Collodi, surrounded by an aura of magic and enchantment, stands the Butterfly House, an earthly paradise where time seems suspended and colors dance in the air like notes of a celestial melody. Here, among the branches of exotic plants and the scents of inebriating flowers, hundreds of butterflies live free, like living gems that show off their iridescent clothes among the trees. It is a tropical garden, a corner of paradise where warmth envelops visitors and the birdsong mixes with the light blowing of the wind among the leaves. Here butterflies, coming from the most distant and mysterious lands, float lightly in the air, courting, feeding and reproducing in a delicate balance with the environment that surrounds them.
The Butterfly House is more than just a place, it is a sanctuary of nature, a temple of beauty and wonder that awakens the senses and nourishes the soul. It is an invitation to slow down, to let yourself be carried away by the wonder of the perfection of nature and the magic of creatures so delicate and yet so powerful in the infinite dance of life.
