It is built naturally along a canyon created by the erosion of the Guadalporcun River and is part of the well-known "Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos" (White Villages of Andalusia).

Head to Ronda, this city is divided in two by the famous Puente Nuevo (New Bridge), one of the essential places to see in Ronda and which connects the old city with the new one across a 100 meter deep chasm.
