The tour is suitable for all members of a family, but has been designed with particular attention to children between 7 and 11 years old. The official guide, specialized and educated to work with children, will engage with children and adults and will tell you the story of the glorious deeds performed by the Gladiators in this majestic amphitheater.
The tour will be dynamic and interactive and will definitely remain a lasting and educational memory for your children.

Through the eyes of the protagonist, young tourists will discover the history of the Flavian Amphitheatre, from the first laying of the foundation stone to the day of its inauguration in 80 AD. To celebrate, the emperor organized gladiatorial games and fights that lasted 100 days! They will learn the importance of games in Roman times and the role of Gladiators. But not only gladiator fights took place in the Colosseum... strange animals and creatures were often presented to the Roman people!
The whole family will be fascinated by Flavio Attilio's life story in an interactive way and with a quiz in stages, which they will answer using smartphones lent to them by their parents. The children will be engaged and actively participate in the story and this will be an incredible learning experience!

  • This tour is non-refundable.

    Note: starting from 18 October 2023, it is mandatory to provide your name and surname to issue Colosseum tickets. Without this information
    the ticket cannot be issued. Once issued, the Colosseum ticket is non-refundable. It is also mandatory to bring your passport/identity card with you on the day of the tour.

    A valid identity document or passport is mandatory, in case of incorrect personal data access to the Colosseum will not be possible.
