Guided tour of Mont Saint-Michel

Greeted by your guide and driver, you will board our air-conditioned coach from central Paris , with departure scheduled at 7:15 am .
The approximately 4-hour journey will allow you to admire the splendid landscapes of the French countryside unfolding before your eyes. The journey will be punctuated by presentations from your guide on the day's itinerary, the Normandy landscapes, and Mont-Saint-Michel. You'll have the opportunity to take a 20-minute break along the way.

You'll arrive at your destination around 11:45 a.m. You'll then board a shuttle bus that will take you directly to the edge of the village of Mont-Saint-Michel.

Our guide will explain how this iconic French site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and introduce you to the island's attractions as you climb the Grande Rue to the summit of Mont Saint -Michel. He will then show you the way to the magnificent Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey , a masterpiece of Gothic architecture dedicated to the Archangel Michael.
This Benedictine abbey is uniquely beautiful, as are its splendid cloisters, bathed in a sense of peace. Its dark corridors contrast with the incredible light that illuminates the recently restored central garden. You'll wander through the abbey's various rooms , spread across three floors, imagining the daily life of the monks. You'll see the cellar where supplies were stored, admire the majestic fireplaces of the Salle des Hôtes (the dining room for visitors), and the immense refectory where the monks shared meals. After visiting the abbey, you'll have the opportunity to admire the exceptional view of the bay from the top of this magnificent rocky peak.

Afterwards, you'll have some free time to stroll through the authentic medieval village . You'll be enchanted by the evocative view of Mont-Saint-Michel rising above the historic pedestrian streets. The ramparts of this magnificent fortress offer fantastic views of the sea . During your stroll, you can also stop at souvenir shops or sample local specialties such as the famous Breton crêpes or Mère Poulard biscuits.

With these images still fresh in your mind, you'll meet your guide again for the departure to Paris at 4:30 PM. The estimated arrival time at our Paris office is around 9:45 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
