Schönbrunn is Austria's most famous and most beautiful Baroque palace, with an unrivaled wealth of history, character and architecture. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is recognized worldwide for its beauty and is a landmark synonymous with Imperial Vienna.

The building itself is a work of art rich in neo-baroque decoration. The ideal environment therefore, to host works by old masters such as Rubens, Raphael and Rembrandt.

Additionally, you'll also find gold-leaf works by one of Austria's most famous sons, Gustav Klimt, and a few pieces by his lesser-known but equally talented brother Ernst Klimt.

The Kunstkammer - or Chamber of Art and Wonders contains rarities from the former treasury chambers and cabinets of curiosities of the Habsburgs.

Explore a fascinating collection of priceless objects in one of Vienna's most impressive and famous buildings.

Enter the Imperial Treasury and discover its unrivaled collection of regalia, coronation vestments and memorabilia. These ornate objects help tell the story of the House of Habsburg, once one of the most influential dynasties in Europe.

In the Ecclesiastical Treasury you will find religious relics that tell the story of the Catholicism of the Habsburgs up to the era of the Counter-Reformation, as well as some objects from Austrian folk religions.

At 65 meters high, it held the record for the tallest Ferris wheel in the world for 75 years from 1910 to 1985. The artifacts on display represent more than 500 years of collecting by the Habsburg imperial family, including items from Emperor Rudolf II's Cabinet of Curiosities, the unique Mexican feather headdress "Penacho" and items from the voyages of discovery and research of the 19th century.

The 14 galleries of this wonderful museum connect to each other as a series of stories told as a journey of discovery. A total of 3,127 objects and stunning photographs are on display, often revealing the rather surprising connections between Austria and the world.

One of Vienna's most spectacular buildings, the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) houses an enormous collection of art, craft and design spanning five centuries.

From medieval relics, through to today's pieces, each exhibition space explores how art and design are not purely a matter of aesthetics, but a much-needed necessity to respond to the challenges that change and modernization can throw.

There are furniture, ceramics, textiles, glassware, and jewelry, including works by Art Nouveau painter Gustav Klimt, Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann, and James Turrell, an American artist famed for his focus on light and spatial installations.
