In the Mincio Valley is the Cavour Water Park , awarded the title of 1st Water Park in Italy by TripAdvisor in 2017. It extends over a vast area of 200,000 square meters and blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment. This green paradise is considered the most ecological among Italian water parks and offers enchanted moments to people of all ages.

Developing a “sustainable” park involves learning to live within the limits of a single planet: without exploiting and impoverishing the natural systems from which resources are derived, and without exceeding their capacity to dispose of waste and refuse generated by human activities.
The family that owns the park has always expressed their love for nature through the careful care of the area: their greatest investment has been in the maintenance of the garden, which hosts a vast variety of plants and shrubs, contributing to the conservation of a precious biodiversity.
However, the commitment does not stop there: over the years, several solutions have been adopted to minimize the negative effect on the environment.
To demonstrate a concrete commitment to environmental protection, water-saving showers have been introduced at Cavour Water Park and hot water is supplied through a system of solar panels. These measures have saved up to 50 Mw/year of electricity and approximately 1.2 million liters of water per year.
Furthermore, for several years now, plastic has been eliminated from all points of sale, replacing it with fully compostable bioplastics. A separate waste collection system has also been implemented, allowing up to 90% of the waste produced in the park to be separated. To further promote a recycling-oriented mentality, through a strategic collaboration, a device for the recovery of plastic bottles has been installed inside the park. Special days with fun activities have been organized to involve children in the world of sustainability.
Finally, all the pools in the park are disinfected using ozone, an ecological substance that is formed from oxygen in the air. After purifying the water, ozone returns to the state of oxygen without causing any type of pollution. This approach also allows to significantly reduce the use of chlorine, preserving the health of guests and the surrounding environment.

If you are leaving from southern Italy, you can take the A1 del Sole motorway and, depending on your exact location, follow the signs to take the A22 and exit at the Nogarole Rocca tollbooth.
On the train:
You can reach the Verona train station, which is well connected from various parts of Italy. From Verona, you can take a regional train to Peschiera del Garda station. From there, you can use a taxi or local public transport service to reach the Cavour Water Park.
